JMX client that can save collected information

We've added performance metrics to our application and exposed them to JMX. Now we would like to collect and store performance data for analysis, in files or in a database.

Does anyone know of an open source JMX client or ad that can save the collected information?

JRockit Mission Control can save JMX data in logical log files that you can open and view in the gui.

you can attach the logging functionality to the jconsole itself and the mbean log issue, etc.
