Javascript Editing for Vista Buttons

I created dropdown menus for my site in Vista buttons. When it exports buttons, they are in a .js file along with graphic files and .css to manage everything.

I did a little editing in .css and then decided to change all the .html extensions for links pointed to by menus to .php because now I use "includes" for the menu on every page on the site.

I went into a .js file to change all targets to .php, changed them all, and when I load my site they are STILL SAY.HTML !!!

How can it be? None of the files associated with them even contain .html inside them.
