Is it possible to manage the top nav bar using SharePoint Web Services?

I am trying to remotely add links to the top navigation bar of a site. I need to use SharePoint Web Services. I was able to create a sub site using websvcMeetings but there are no links in the top nav bar. It should inherit the parent's top navbar and the top navbar should have a link to this newly created site.

Can anyone please help? Thank.

The simple answer is No. Excuse me.

I had to write a simple web service interface to do all the navigation mngt for Top and Quick Launch.

As DJ said: The only way to do this is to write your own web service, which then uses the SharePoint object model to create the site / change the navigation.

When you say you need to use web services, does that mean you are not allowed to deploy dlls (in sharepoint solutions)? If so, then the only way would be to do a manual navigation change after the site is created.
