IPhone video playback problems

I downloaded the sample code from Apple Center. I have also considered the following question

Let me explain what my problem is.

  • I am executing Downloaded code for the first time
  • The video works fine without flickering (smooth playback).
  • I click on the button in the upper left corner of the media player.
  • ok the video is stopped.
  • Now I start playing the video again
  • The video doesn't work as well as it used to.

  • There are some problems with video playback.

  • I have now applied the same code - to play the video - in my application.

  • Let me know where I am doing mistakes?

Yes, I have seen this issue when playing video on the simulator when using a custom overlay. It works for me on the device itself.
