TFS Migration from 2005 to 2008?

Does anyone know if it is possible to migrate individual projects from TFS 2005 server to TFS 2008 server?

I updated my TFS server from 2005 to 2008, but never translated projects from one to another. I can say that I have projects that use VS2005 on my VS2008 server and it works without issue.

The "rough but effective" way might be to do a full update and then "Remove Team Projects" which you don't need on the new server.



However, you have to accomplish most of what you want (with some limitations) using the TFS to TFS Migration utility on CodePlex. You might want to check out the discussions - some people are having problems with branches - you need to make sure your mappings are correct.
