Collection of browser characteristics

I'm looking for a page or book on the internet that collects the characteristics (bugs / quirks) of common browsers. I am getting a lot of information from several sites .. but is there a place for a web designer who focuses on this issue?

I am currently using Grails if that is a necessary factor to answer my question.

quirksmode.org is pretty good at listing browser and compatibility bugs.

The only thing I know is this excellent browser security guide. It also has a comparison of various browser features. Complete parts 1 and 2 at least.

I think the best approach for you should be this:

  • review standards supported by different browsers
  • testing your application in the browser and making appropriate changes
