Download gzip file and Uncompressing to extract content using SDH-SDHON on iphone and ipod touch devices
I have the following questions related to downloading a file from a server.
a) Is it possible to directly download GZIP (compressed) file to iphone device using SDHH IPHONE. b) If the compressed file can be downloaded, then how to unpack it (using ZLIB or else ...).
Not at all sure about this, but if its http is gzip encoded then it might be automatically unpacked for you - as part of the http protocol - a guess and will need to be tested. Also may not be suitable for your situation.
