Wikipedia bots and captcha

I see there are many php (and other) frameworks for writing wikipedia bots, but this is not a problem. Or bots don't need to solve it (but it sounds like there is no point in having a captcha in the first place ...)? Or maybe I can make my prog stop and let me fill in the captcha?

Correctly registered bots do not have to fill out conversion forms on Wikipedia. The user group page states that bots can, among other things,

Performing captcha launch actions without having to go through the captcha (skipcaptcha)

You will need to add your bot account to the bureaucrat bot group and this usually happens after the bot approval group is accepted .

Good luck!

I didn't know Wikipedia has some kind of captcha ... captcha for what? Editing articles? I'm sure they recommend maintenance bots:
