VS2008 Installation Project - No Repair Option

Is there anyway to disable the restore option so that if the user runs the msi again, it will automatically delete the files without asking for restore / delete options?

Edit: This is for a controlled corporate environment and passed as a requirement.

After reading your edit, I'll try to give a guess, although I don't know if this is possible with the msi file. The "orca" tool can be downloaded from Microsoft (not associated with "orcas" which was the codename for the Visual Studio version). Orca can edit some properties of msi files, so this would be one place I would look for to be able to disable the restore option.



Another guess is that you can insert a custom action early enough.

Isn't that so unfriendly? Should the user decide if they want repair or removal? Write a separate uninstaller if you want to provide a one-click uninstaller.
