Classification of architectures based on call functions

There are various ways to call functions: call stacks, continue transfers, messaging, and event handling. What do you call the category of these features? Vocation? What do you call an architecture classified by these features? Call architecture?

Additional question: besides the four above, what are some examples of this type of function?

What you are asking generalizes the idea of calling conditionals , so you can get away from using that in an extended sense.

Function calling style and calling style can also work.

"I like the way functions are called." Why go out of the way to make things harder than they are?

If you are writing paper that uses this phrase very often , you can save a few words by specifying what you mean by "Invocation Architecture" at the top. I don't know of any term used for this.
