Stop a sharepoint workflow automatically

Question

It's good that I have a scheduled script that checks for some changes in another database (Oracle) if a change happens

I need to cancel / kill / stop a worker process if it is running on a specific item in my list

I couldn't find how to do this, hope people can help

I haven't tried it, but the SPWorkflowManager.CancelWorkflow Method should do what you want to do: "Cancels the specified workflow instance."

I hope this works and solves your problem.
