By default, the selected item in the linked web part

Question

I have a web part linked to another (provide a string). It shows a radio button that, when clicked correctly, passes data to the second web part.

Can I set this radio button as default so that it automatically provides filter data right after the page loads?

You can do this through the XSTL web part connection. You can use custom sharepoint designer.
