Symbol SDK - Get Device Serial Number
Has anyone done any development with the Symbol Device SDK? I want to get the serial number of the device and write it to a value in the registry.
Does the Symbol SDK give you the ability to retrieve the serial number of a device? If so, do you know the class is being called since there are quite a few in the SDK?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I typed the title of the question on google and the first match said
The Symbol support team wrote that Symbol PPT devices support a serial number that can be read using the RCM_GETUNIQUEUNITID function.
Googling for RCM_GETUNQUEUNITID then I got this one which has the source code to extract the ID.
