Sending HTML emails that render correctly in Notes 7

Does anyone have any experience on how to send HTML emails that render correctly on Lotus Notes Client 7?

There are some complex CSS files in my email and I tried to inject them into style> tags but it doesn't seem to work. The fact is that the letter is displayed perfectly in version 8 and on other email clients.

Any hints or pointers?

Lotus Notes 7 has a terrible HTML engine. Really awful. That's not you.

Here are some old tips about this. I also suggest registering with an email testing service like Litmus . You can never solve a problem if you don't see the problem.



(In the template I was using, I found that the problem was actually in HTML. It has some kind of fancy box model problem. Helped wrap a bunch of elements in DIVs)

Here's a good graph for different email clients. Unfortunately, only Notes 6 is considered at the moment, but that gives you a starting point.
