Is there a free .eml parser out there?

I am writing an add-on for my intranet to allow my users to simply email "itsupport" and parse it as the user who registered the job and body as an issue.

Does anyone know if their free parser is available so I don't have to write anything myself? (no point in reinventing the wheel on the right :))
