Free TOAD alternative for DB2

I am currently using Toad for DB2 to work with my DB2 database. I just wanted to know if there is a free Toad alternative for DB2,

Note: Similar question posted earlier, but this was for TOAD [oracle], none of the above solutions for DB2 explicitly.

Try AQT or SquirrelSQL (depending on your budget and patience).

SQuirreL SQL Client works well. As for its GUI, there are several different "Look & Feel" options to choose from. (But yes, he's too busy to use a netbook, I know.)

I suggest Aqua Data Studio, this is the cool end of the database font You can use Aqua Data Studio with many databases like DB2, Oracle, Ms. Access, etc.

I like SQLDbx , which handles several database options, including some DB2. I'm afraid I am not familiar with DB2, but their website says it is compatible with IBM DB2 LUW® 7.x - 9.x, IBM DB2® z / OS 7.x - 9.x, and IBM DB2® iSeries 5.x - 6x. Some of the features for some of them are only available in their pro version and not in the free version.

I have used Embarcadero DBArtisan in the past. It did a great job with our DB2 environment, but it was able to work with our SQLServer as well.

Apparently the next version of Oracle SQL Developer can connect to some flavors of DB2. More information on the OTN forum (including link to the Early Adopter release)

This thread is pretty old, a year after publishing a new client: http://dbeaver.io/ Free open source database administration tool is highly recommended.
