Should MVC 2 - Preview be easily upgraded to Beta when it is released?

Should I just install the beta on top of this with no problem when it's released?

Not sure how it is handled in a visual studio environment. I think this is a project type in VS, it should be fine.

Can anyone clarify?

MVC 2 looks good from what I heard from Scott Gu at the conference in Manchester, can't wait for the final release :)

With pre-release and beta software, there is always a chance to change the gap. If you want to use MVC 2 preview, you need to accept the fact that there may be some work in the future to make your project compatible with beta, RC, and final releases. It doesn't necessarily break, but the earlier in the release schedule (like preview instead of beta), the more chances you'll have to make changes to your code as they go forward.

When the MVC 1.0 previews were released, there was a breaking change between releases. If you try to keep up with each preview, you should be able to fix any issues pretty quickly - and you can get great feedback too!
