What's the best Python library for syntax highlighting? I'm interested in things like supported languages, ease of use, pythonic design, dependencies, development status, etc.
I think pygments is the best choice. It supports a large number of languages and is very mature.
I've always heard pygments as a syntax highlighting module. I have never used it myself either.
