What's the best exam for a project manager
Currently, I am not alone, but I carry out the duties of one. Getting a certification will help me (?) Get in as a project manager in my next job or be seriously considered within the same organization. Now I hear more names than PMP or CAPM for project management certification. What do you think has the highest market value and which will truly help me best serve as prime minister?
The only certificate I have ever seen is PMP.
This is all farce, if you ask me. I worked with PMP-certified project managers who were unable to organize a project that NASA astronauts could successfully complete, and conversely, I worked with an uncertified PM who could probably create his own test that would be better than current certifications.

go to the most popular job search site in your area (in Australia, its SEEK).
search for project management jobs and see what employers are asking for the most (here its PRINCE2, more British where PMP is more US).
I also agree that this is a bit of a quirk, but a good quirk (if such a thing is possible). that the current incarnation of PRINCE2 has been around for over a decade and companies are just starting to push for it now?
I say this is good because it really tells you how to properly manage a project. Another good thing is that we (i.e. project managers) will start using the same language / terminology.

I don't think certification will make you a better project manager. This is not to say that PM certifications are valueless. They give you access to the type of knowledge you need to apply.
The CAPM is more of an entry-level exam, while the PMP is definitely for more experienced types of project management. I would recommend taking both. Start with a CAPM, get some experience to meet the PMP prerequisites, and then grab one.
Just make sure to actually study the material - not to pass the exam, but to apply it to what you are doing.
