What is the correct pronunciation for Java 5 Artist?

Question

Is it an "executor" as in "executor of a will"? Or is it a "performer" as in "prisoner executioner"?

This site describes the Executor interface as:

The object that executes the submitted Runnable tasks

So that would be the "executor of the will," as I am not suggesting the task is decapitated.

I say this as "executor of the will." Like "Ex-Ex-yoo-Tor" or "egg-zeck-yoo-tor" Unlike an artist who looks like "exe-kyoo-tor"

You can pronounce it anyway, it is one of those British / American differences.

Do you mean that you can pronounce the same word differently depending on the context?

Why? Each word must have one and only one correct pronunciation, the way is written. (This is why other languages have accentuation marks)

Take Spanish: dad (dad) and dad (dad), they are pronounced differently because they are spelled differently.

The Performer is the one who runs the Runnables. Execute is pronounced ek-si-ˌkyüt, so I would suggest Executor to be ek-si-ˌkyütar
