Travel time between zip codes

Hopefully someone can advise, but is looking for an API service that can provide travel times between two zip codes. It will be driving time. Probably seems to find a favor for such a thing.

Can anyone help provide links to any good services they've found?

Something like: http://maps.google.com.au/maps?hl=en&q=90210,+usa+to+98050,+usa&output=kml ? The total distance and travel time are on the "Route" mark ...

Does it make sense? If they are close to each other, the result can be very different. Like 92128 and 92127 - can be 0 or 15 ml. Can you possibly get a set of coordinates for each zip, take some medians, and then use those 2 points to calculate the average distance?
