Impersonate another user in Visual SourceSafe

We had an employee who left the company and they left some files pulled from our VSS database. What's the best way to impersonate this user so I can free those files?

Inside ssadmin, you can reset their VSS password (so you know what their VSS password is, so you can log in like they do using their password).

You can try logging in as an administrator and cancel their checkout. You will lose any work they were doing locally, but if you only care about locking the file, it doesn't matter.
