Software business statistics
Is there a good background information on the software business (in the US)? Specifically, I'm looking for things like:
- The number of people employed in the software business (not only developers, but also support personnel).
- Interruption by age, gender, etc. the current workforce of software developers.
- The number of enterprises whose main product is software development.
- Number of universities offering BS, MS, PhD in Computer Science.
You have an idea ... I realize that most of this information is scattered across various sites, but I wanted to know if there was one source that had "all the statistics in the computer software industry."
