Restoring SQL Express 2008 from a SQL Server 2008 Backup

I've done some research online, but I can't seem to find the right answer. I am trying to restore a SQL Server 2008 backup to sql express 2008 system (environment backup for development environment).

The problem is I keep getting error code 3241 "SQL Server cannot process".

Any ideas ???

A simple solution would be to create a DB script and then run it on an empty database with the same name.
