BlazeDS support on Z-Linux

I am working on a proposal where we intend to use Flash redirect in Flex and connect it to a Java web application using AMF. We are looking at using BlazeDS or LCDS. The final application should be deployed to the Z-Linux Server.

I came across a thread on the Adobe forums that says this won't work. Link to Adobe Forum: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/467135

This thread is also active; however it would be great if you could answer that for me.

Blaze DS should work on Z-Linux.

Why? Blaze DS is not a LiveCycle. From the link you provided:

LiveCycle has some non-Java C ++ components. By their very nature, they must be compiled for the CPU architecture. *

Since Blaze DS is 100% Java, it is cross platform and will therefore work on your Z-Linux platform if there is a Java compatible JVM that I believe there is.

However, you may need to cover your performance requirements. While my own use of Blaze DS has done just fine, Adobe's website implies that Blaze DS has a scaling limitation that LiveCyle doesn't. YMMV.
