Is it possible to connect via the SAPI 4 interface?

I read somewhere that you can interact with Naturally Speaking through the SAPI 4 interface that it exports? Is this true and is there any documentation? Thanks to

True. Documentation on older MSDN CDs.

I found several press releases from Dragon claiming that the older version of Naturally Speaking supports SAPI 4.0. The problem is that SAPI 4.0 has been out of date for over a decade; MSDN doesn't even document it. I suppose if you could get an archived copy of MSDN 1999 on DVD, you could use that.

I'm also not sure if the current versions of Naturally Speaking continue to support SAPI 4.

The final answer: truth in its time; probably not now.
