How can one IIS6.NET application act as a subsite of another?

SiteA.com and siteB.com are .NET 2.0 applications on IIS6. SiteA uses SSL.

Can I customize things so that siteA.com/train attracts people to site.com?

Are there multiple ways to do this? How can you set up a good way?

Go to MyComputer, right click + click and select "Manage". Go to IIS / Websites and open your sitename.com site .. go to sitename.com/train directory. right click + click on the train folder and select "properties". In the "Catalog" section, click "New". I think what you are looking for.

You cannot have a site subdirectory pointing to the root, and you cannot have two instances of a site with the same domain name — the DNS record for www.sitename.com points to the same IP address. I think you'd be better off with something like http://train.sitename.com .

In fact, you can have two instances of a site with the same domain, you can work with www.domain.com, and the other only work with domain.com. DNS can distinguish between the two.
