Recommend good lightweight task management apps for PC

Can anyone recommend a good task management app for PC? I used Palm Desktop and loved it, but now I use Black Berry and Outlook at work, however, I find the Outlook task functions quite painful to use. Going back to the Palm Desktop might work, but I really need something that does the job perfectly and isn't too hard.

On my Mac at home, I watched OmniFocus , which seems pretty decent, but it's a Mac-only app and I really need something for the PC I use at work.

I actually started using Evernote and the Moleskin Journal to keep track of what I work with day in and day out. While Evernote is a note-taking app, it is generic enough and has tags that seem like enough for general task management.

Google Calendar supports tasks (new feature, very bare bones), or you can use RememberTheMilk add site / gmail. It has all the basic features you would ever need and is easy to use. If you are using an iPhone or gPhone, you can access the website in 1st grade from both your desktop and your pocket.

Here is a very simple and intuitive tree-based task list. http://www.codeproject.com/KB/applications/todolist2.aspx Comes free with source code and many plugins

I really like Life Balance from Llamagraphics. I used to use it on my palm and then on treo.

But it also works on Mac and PC (and IPhone). I don't think there is a Blackberry version.

It can be used as a basic todo list, but it also has some cool features and a nice way of setting priorities. The iPhone version is still a little awkward compared to the Palm version, but it can be used. All versions can sync with each other, and on Mac it has iCal sync capability.
