What aspects of the web browser should you customize with plugins?

I'm looking at this from the perspective of the plugin developer, not the browser user, so I'm wondering what developers think is the ideal interface for plugins in a browser. For example: plugins can reorder, create and destroy tabs, plugins can draw behind and in front of browser pages, etc.

I am especially concerned about security aspects

The most important thing I'm looking for right now is just to open the preference pane, new windows, and security preference variables.



I also like the ability to iterate through the tabs, searching through various aspects such as the page currently displayed on each of these tabs.

The web browser should have a built-in firebug plug-in to help developers. When asked about browser security, you need to block phishing.
