How to control NAS using iphone as a remote control?

Is there a method or code to control a TV connected to the NAS using the iphone as a remote?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I have a Blackberry and a D-Link DNS 323, but the idea should be the same for you: set up SSH on your NAS, configure your network / router to forward the SH port to the NAS, and use an SSH client over the phone (I used midpSSH).



My guess is that if you want a good GUI you can create single and map buttons for commands sent over SSH.
