Access denied UNC paths in nant zip task when nant task is running cc.net does fine when nant is manually started from command line
We are doing a nant task from cruisecontrol.net. The zip task fails with the error "Access to path nnnn is denied." The specified path is a UNC path. When we run the same task manually from the command line, the task succeeds.
We also tried to set up a domain user account and switched the cc.net service to log in as that user.

Configuring a domain user account for CCNET is definitely a good starting point for solving the problem. If you can access the UNC path interactively registered as this user, the CCNET service should be there as well.
Culture: Restarting the CI server (server is not a service) solved the problem for us in a similar situation.
