German-Russian translation database
I am dealing with a mobile app where it has to do translation of words that work offline (not on the internet using some kind of api -bing / google). how can i do any translation of words (for example german ---> english) in android. how WORDLENS / any offline translator works.
Are there databases available for German to English translation.

I think it will be difficult to find. There are paid versions: http://www.language-databases.com/database-english.html , which will cost you quite a lot of money for a license. You can try to write a script that uses the German wordlist to get translations from various online sources. It may take several weeks, but it will be cheaper. (Not sure what the legal implications are.)
