Cross domain iframe cookies are not set in safari iphone

I am using an iframe to display a cross domain page. I do not own the domain, so there is nothing I can do on that domain. Now this domain sets some cookies and it shows an image if the cookie is set now if I change the Safari setting on the iphone so that it always works and if I set it to "From visit" it doesn't work. I also tried using the jquery cookie plugin to check if cookies are enabled, but it doesn't work when the "From Visit" option is set in the iphone safari settings. I just want to show the user a dialog if the "Accept cookie" in safari is "from visit" or "never" if it is not possible to pass the cross domain iframe to add cookie to safari iPhone.
