I am writing a report in Rmarkdown language with Rstudio and then converting the file md

(not the file Rmd

) to the format doc

using pandoc. Each figure has a title in the output file doc

: "plot chunk unnamed-chunk-xxx". Of course, I can change this header in the file md

, but I am wondering if it can be changed directly in the file Rmd

.

Ooops I found the solution: fig.cap

R fragment option . The caption appears in the Word file after conversion, but it does not appear in the html file.
