Setting up reverse dns on windows azure?
Does anyone know if this is possible? Browsing the internet I found out that it was included in the roadmap, but it was quite the opposite. Has anyone achieved this? It seems odd that such a big player in the hosting industry doesn't offer this the way AWS does.
Also, I'm talking about the reverse dns on VMs, not the IPs of the cloud services. I assumed it had something to do with the configuration of the Linux machine, since VMs have root access, I thought it was possible, although trying to find information about it.

It looks like a reverse DNS feature is planned, but I couldn't find more details on any timeline / planned release date.

EDIT As @franzo pointed out, Windows Azure platform now supports reverse DNS records at no additional cost. Reverse DNS support is designed for all PaaS and IaaS cloud services. You can read more about this feature at Announcement: Reverse DNS for Azure Cloud Services .
