Is this tool out of date for google / android engine?
Is this google engine developer / android engine outdated?
I worked on this and the one I just realized C2DM
was replaced with GCM
. Is the tutorial up to date and helpful (it was recently updated)?

It looks pretty old. The functionality appears to be being replaced by Google cloud endpoints.

Please note that the endpoints are still experimental.
