Liferay: Theme migration from 6.1 to 6.2
We want to update the portal soon from Liferay 6.1.30 GA3 to 6.2. The portlet backend appears to be a simple port. But the changes in theme technology are huge :) I mean the upload method is very welcome, but how does this work with migrating an existing theme (6.1)?
Our theme is based on the standard Liferay 6.1 style theme. However, I'm looking for some migration guidelines, eg. Liferay 6.1 is a classic theme before 6.2.

As you said, the themes between 6.1 and 6.2 have changed a lot. You may be able to transfer the theme from the two versions, but you may not get the full download.
When migrating from 6.0, 6.1 to 6.2, you should usually consider creating a new theme and perhaps also redesign your template to follow the "initial" bootstrap method.
