Installing the latest titanium studio on the latest Ubuntu 14.04

So I just installed Ubuntu 14.04 64 bit. I want to set up Titanium studio now on my machine. Please help me with the installation. How to, where to start, and what to install / download. I do not want to spoil the environment like I did last time.

I know the official site, but somehow it confuses a lot, and hence if anyone has written any guidebook or whatever, the link to that would be great. I was having problems with titanium sdk versions. those. a project developed on a Mac with 3.2.3 didn't work and vice versa.

Please, help.
