Could you tell me why a new project created in Xcode 6 looks with two black bars at the top and bottom of the screen on an iPhone with a 4-inch ios 7 display?
As described in the comments, the solution is to add LaunchScreen.xib and set it to "Launch Screen File" in the project settings.
You can take a look at the size classes .
Or just turn off sizing classes.
