The page on localhost keeps loading

This is not really a problem, just what made me curious.

When I open the page (index.php cakephp to be more precise) in chrome, even if it loads correctly, it seems like it is still loading something. The page content doesn't change, but the spinning circle continues to roll. This does not happen in a mozilla.

I've seen this behavior with other pages as well (which are on my local machine), but I can't find any connection between them.

So I was wondering if anyone noticed anything about this.

Operating system - Linux mint

Chrome Version - Version 39.0.2171.95

Yes, I found this behavior during development as well. First thought it might be a remote script loading like jQuery. Closing and reopening the tab fixes the issue.
