It only takes 5-6 minutes to update the GAE node app with the new version. Am I probably doing something wrong and am not sure how to speed up the deployment?
You are probably not wrong. Unfortunately, 5-6 minutes is not uncommon for agile deployments, and we are actively working to improve this.
