Ghostscript PDF & # 8594; TIFF throws a no-possibility exception when using files with Asian fonts

Ghostscript twists and dies, throwing an exception to stdout, which I cannot catch and log into the log. I'm pretty sure he'll get sick when I give him Asian fonts. Has anyone supported this issue and solved it?
