Open the document in edit mode from the approval email
The MOSS 2007 WorkFlow assertion is built for a standard document library (containing Word files). When an email alert goes to a prospect, the user clicks on the link in the email to view the document. The document opens read-only. Is there a way to open the document in edit mode?
To be clear, opening a document in a SharePoint environment gives you the ability to open the document in Read Only or Edit mode. However, this question is about referring to the document from the link in the email that WorkFlow sends. Also, when you open a document from email, the Edit panel is missing and gives you the option to approve.
